In India more than 50% population depend on agri sector. Agriculture, along with fisheries and forestry, is one of the largest contributors to the GDP. However, currently the agri sector faces lot of challenges in terms of high cultivation cost, productivity and marketability. There is a need to create awareness among farmers on latest technology and ways to market the produce effectively. Towards this, Arunya Foundation (R.) is organizing “Krishi Sangama” an Agricultural Summit on 3rd & 4th of February 2018 at Ganjimutt, Mangalore..
The objective of the event is to reach out to all stake holders in farming sector with special focus on growers and farmers. With an aim of knowledge sharing, inspiring and connecting agri stake holders toward adopting, supporting the modernization & industrialization of farming sector. Here through this forum, we seek to establish a platform to facilitate a comprehensive dialogue and raise awareness about innovation and explore new opportunities that can be the key to developing sustainable agriculture.
Krishi Sangama 2018 will bring together all the stakeholders on a single platform which will include Farmers, Rural Businesses, Agro Traders, Government officials, Agro professional, Agri Advisors, Universities, Agriculture Scientists, Agri Industry and NGOs.
